Getting here
The route from Adambakkam
West out of Adambakkam through Nanganallur, then under the railway by the Thillai Ganga Nagar subway to join GST Road. South from there to Pallavaram, then right onto Pallavaram-Kundrathur Road and through Pammal into Anakaputhur.
Getting west out of here means going under the railway, and there are two ways to do it, the Palavanthangal subway or the one at Thillai Ganga Nagar. Both are fine in dry weather and both take on water quickly in a heavy downpour. In the monsoon, leave earlier than you think you need to, or ring first and we will tell you whether people have been getting through that afternoon.
One thing Adambakkam has that most of the places our patients come from do not is its own MTC depot, at NGO Colony on City Link Road. Buses start their runs here rather than arriving already full, which makes an early appointment easier to keep from Adambakkam than from further along the same routes. Our morning block opens at 9:30am and it is the quieter half of the day.

- An auto the whole way, about half an hour through Nanganallur and down GST Road.

Can I go back to work the same day after laser gum treatment?
Usually yes. Laser work on the gums tends to bleed less and needs fewer stitches, so most people are back at a desk that afternoon. What we would avoid is a heavy day straight afterwards, or a long meeting where you have to keep talking. Take a morning appointment if you want the rest of the day to settle.
I am thirty four. Is that too late to straighten my teeth?
No. Adult treatment moves more slowly than it does in a teenager because the bone responds differently, but it works. The commitment is an adjustment appointment every four to six weeks over a year or more, not a weekly one, so from Adambakkam it is a manageable rhythm. Is Saturday busier than the weekdays?
