Pallavaram is about 4 km east of the clinic and one road covers the whole trip. Pammal Main Road leaves GST Road at the Pallavaram junction, runs west through Pammal and reaches Anakaputhur. It carries on from there to Kundrathur and Poonamallee, but you turn off well before that.

The route from Pallavaram
From the Pallavaram junction on GST Road, turn west on to Pammal Main Road. On the highway maps this is the Pallavaram to Kundrathur road, the Pallavaram to Kundrathur to Poonamallee road. Stay on it through Pammal and it runs into Anakaputhur. Kamaraj Street is a short turn off it into Kamatchi Nagar.
The 4 km take about fifteen minutes on a normal day. The slow part is the first stretch near the junction and the railway station, worst between 8am and 10am and again after 6pm. Past Pammal the road opens up and the rest of it is quick.
Being 4 km away changes what is practical. A Pallavaram patient can come in for a ten minute bite adjustment or a suture check after work and be home inside the hour, so we are happy to book the small follow up visits separately instead of folding them into a longer appointment the way we do for people travelling from further out. If something hurts after a procedure, ring in the morning and we can usually see you that evening.

The evening session runs from 4:30pm to 9pm, so yes. The 4:30pm to 6pm stretch is the quiet half of it. After about seven the waiting room fills with people coming off work and a short appointment can end up costing you an hour.
A tooth that was root canal treated years ago is hurting again. Is it fixable?
Often, yes. Retreatment means reopening the tooth, clearing the old filling material out of the canals and sealing them properly, and it takes longer than the original treatment did. We take a fresh x-ray first, and if the tooth is not worth saving we will say so rather than charge you for the attempt.
